Edible cake flowers are made from fondant icing, cream, chocolate, wafer paper and isomalt.

Fondant icing flowers

Fondant icing allows to create delicious and beautiful flowers on a cake at the same time. For example, a cake in the shape of a Chanel perfume bottle:
